Jolinette Pérez Beltrán artistically known as Jol is a self-taught artist born and raised in Puerto Rico. Jol is an outstanding young artist whose creativity and intelligence thrive on a contemporary style. She constantly travels visiting museums, galeries, and local artist studios to search for inspiration and enhance her knowledge of art and culture.

She began her artistic career at a very young age, but it wasn’t until 2018 where she established her brand and business. Her first collective exhibition was at 12 years of age, but is now focused on private expositions.

The desire to create art became an unwavering obligation to explore the internal mechanisms of her creative conscience. From small sketches she drew at a young age to large scale pieces, her art is a very personal and internal reflection of herself. Her compositions are characterized by the use of textures.

Jol started to incorporate emeralds in her pieces. These precious stones began to trancend her art into the world of luxury. Currently, she is the only artist in Puerto Rico who incorporates authentic jewelry certified emeralds in her works. She personally selects each one on her travels to Colombia.

Jol’s work has been acquired by various art collectors. Besides that, she has imported her art pieces to places like California, Colombia, Miami, New York, Louisiana and many more. She recently donated one of her pieces to be auctioned and all the proceeds were donated to a Breast Cancer Foundation. Lately she has been interviewed by different media such as television, radio and magazines.
